1. Off the Shoulder/Cold Shoulder

In the last few years, shoulders have become a fashion focal point, so it’s no surprise to see cold shoulder and off the shoulder MOB and MOG gowns making a big splash in the wedding world.

Pretty, elegant off the shoulder dresses that highlight décolletage and shoulders pull out all the stops. When it comes to looking pretty and glamorous, an off the shoulder or cold shower dress is a great choice.

Say goodbye to floor length when it comes to Mother of the Bride Dresses. Plenty of different hemlines are popping up, mainly due to the huge variety of wedding styles and venues these days.

We’re seeing plenty of cocktail-length, knee-length, tea length, as well as hi-lo dress lengths. (High in the front, long in the back).

Remember: All these new hemlines give you one more reason to wear some fabulous, head-turning shoes!

When you are tired of the same old, same old, then consider a MOB or MOG dress in a beautiful print. Just Choose a soft print that incorporates the colors of the wedding party, and you will co-ordinate perfectly.

Floral prints are especially pretty and are a beautiful addition to any spring or summer wedding. Check out this blue print MOB gown I wore on the blog that I think is stunning!

5) Wine, Plum, Navy

It used to be that Mother of the Bride dresses only came in four colors: blah, boring, beige, and blech.  of the selection today! Finally, the industry is showing a spectrum of different colors, from spring greens to royal purples.

Wine, Navy, and Plum are trending at the moment because they always look rich and regal and they’re also dark and slimming. Whether you love bold jewel tones or lean towards rich earth tones, there’s a MOB/MOG gown in a gorgeous shade out there for you.
